Buslink VIVO currently provide employee transport services for the Ichthys Project Onshore LNG facilities in Darwin, Northern Territory. At peak we will be safely transporting 4,500 staff using our fleet of over 100 buses.

Tony Hopkins – General Manager, Buslink VIVO

Tony-HopkinsAs General Manager of Buslink VIVO, Tony has brought together a dynamic and focused team to provide exemplary bussing services. Tony has over 30 years experience within the Transport, Tourism and Logistics industry. Prior to joining Buslink VIVO, Tony worked for a major bussing organisation for 7 years as the Chief Operating Officer and most recently as General Manager for the Wheatstone project.

It is Tony’s diverse skills and experience at all levels within the industry that have allowed him to successfully implement customised and innovative passenger transport solutions within the resources sector.

Tony completed a Certificate of Transport Management at the Graduate School of Management at the University of Queensland as well as a Certificate of Coach Management with the Institute of Transport Studies with the Graduate School of Business at The University of Sydney.

Industry Bodies and Positions:

  • Current President of the Queensland Bus Industry Council.
  • Current Chairman of the Long Distance Tour and Charter Committee for the Queensland Bus Industry Council.
  • Former Vice President of the Queensland Bus Industry Council.
  • Currently a Council Member of The Australian Public Transport Industrial Association.
  • Currently a Member of the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator Bus Taskforce.

Craig Harbeck – Site Manager

Craig H profileCraig Harbeck is the site manager of the Buslink VIVO logistics team on the Ichthys LNG project, seconded to JKC Transportation department for the construction phase of the project.

Craig is an Oil and Gas Industry Logistics specialist with 14 years’ experience of managing the safe transportation of materials and personnel in harsh environments in four countries.

Craig’s last international posting was in South Africa which saw him in the role of logistics coordinator and Security Manager on a power station construction project where he managed the personnel bussing operations carrying 9,000 local personnel within a 70 km catchment area.

Craig lived in the UK for twelve years in which time he completed a National Diploma in Land and Countryside management.

Pele Wendt – HSES Manager

Pele is HSES Manager at Buslink VIVO, managing a team of advisors at our Howard Springs Depot.

Pele holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from RMIT University and a Diploma in OHS.  She began her career with ExxonMobil in 2000 and has worked for various multinational companies and consultancies in the oil and gas industry throughout the South Pacific, Europe and Asia.  Her previous roles encompass Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality Control,  and Health and Safety in both regional and global environments.

Daryl Caesar – Operations Manager

DarylManaging over 100 staff and a fleet of over 70 buses, Daryl ensures the smooth running of our 24 hour operation, including our onsite workshop. Daryl and his team ensure our buses transport personnel safely and on time 365  days a year.

Daryl was formerly National Operations Co-ordinator with Greyhound Australia for over 8 years, in charge of the timetable, routes, buses and drivers nationwide, he has been in the transport industry for over 30 years.

All our buses are fitted with an In-vehicle Monitoring System which provides us with information to manage our fleet and drivers and allow us to supply comprehensive reporting on our operations.
